FRENCH & INDIAN WAR FRENCH MARINE MILITARY COAT:  This coat is very practical and handsome.    This coat is lined, and has working pockets.  French Marine style features the white wool outer with fustian or cotton sleeve and upper lining, with wool tails.  It also features gentian (French) blue wool cuffs, and French Marine brass buttons.

Note that the sleeves are cut to be shorter (around 2 inches) to better show off the sleeves/ruffles of the shirt.

 This coat can also be made in a civilian mode.

JUSTAUCORPS: The most common outer coat worn in the 18th century through the French and Indian War.  It had a full cut with large cuffs and skirted pleats.  This garment features functional buttons on the cuffs, pocket flaps and down to the waist of the coat.
