Coats & Raincoats

RAIN CAPES:  These are made of waxed cotton (brown only).  They have an elbow-length cape; horn buttons on the cape and down the front to the waist.  Also featured are vents in the back to accommodate horseback riders.  The capes are also sleeveless, as they are designed to wear over a regimental coat or other clothing.  An item ideal for the hunter or trekker, as these can also serve as a ground cloth when necessary.  FROM STOCK ONLY, NO SPECIAL ORDERS.

            LARGE:            To fit over a regimental size 40 – 46:        $180.00

            HFM:                To fit over a regimental size 47 – 54:        $200.00

GREAT COATS:  These coats are made to order only.  They are wool, and feature double capes.  Coats can be lined with fustian/cotton or by wool.  Buttons can be covered, pewter, or brass.  Brass buttons are $1.00/each.

ALL COATS ARE CUSTOM ORDERED.  PRICES WILL VARY WITH SIZE, MATERIALS, BUTTONS, LACE, AND HAND-SEWN DETAILS.

KINSALE CLOAKS:  In stock are cloaks in waxed cotton (brown only), with collar and hood, unlined.

By special order only, we offer Kinsale cloaks that feature lightweight wool with a cotton or fustian lining.  Men's style features a collar, while the women's style features a collar plus a gathered hood (also lined).
